How Do I Show Proof Of Self Employment?

I just got started on this which means I haven't filed taxes. I showed proof of the checks I received and proof I don't work for the companies. It's for the Division Of Family Services...What do I do I have no more proof or how this works. Practically every other day they inquire about it. I gave them everything I got for proof.? Ty
