What geological problems does the three gorges dam cause?

There is some concern over the massive amount of water being stored behind the dam. Due to its weight, it might aggravate geologic conditions and lead to more earthquakes in the region. In my opinion, it's a bit like setting dog on the end of a steel bar; I don't think it poses any significant geologic hazard of that sort.
