The Republican Party wants to eliminate all legal liability for drillers of Natural Gas, so that if?

-for example- an individual happens to live by a hydro-fracking operation, and one day notices their tap water tastes funny, and they have that tap water tested and find out it contains Benzene, so that homeowner's property loses it's value because the well is tainted, that homeowner would have no right to any legal claims against that Natural Gas Driller. In fact, Republicans even want to make an amendment to the Freedom of Information act which would bar the homeowner from even trying to file a claim with the State or Federal Government against that Gas Driller to even inquire if Benzene was a component in the hydro-fracking process. Do you agree with this stance?
