What are some healthy but really satisfying, filling foods/dishes?

I feel famished even after having eaten a hearty meal, and it's starting to become quite distressing trying to perpetually withhold myself from gorging on whatever takes my fancy. I want to remain healthy and stay focused on more important things in life, and I want to revolt against these stupid carnal urges and limitations. I've noticed my desire for food becoming more and more pervasive since these last few days and I hate that!! I always used to be the sort of person who thought of eating as a chore, whose mouth never watered at the thought or sight of a chocolate cake, but now I'm craving all of that, literally THINKING about food, at the expense of other things! Bah! How can I satiate my appetite through healthy means? What are some really gratifying foods or dishes, which are not calorie rich?
